Olivia Montgomery, MSW, LICSW

Olivia earned their MSW degree from Simmons University School of Social Work, and has since worked in a number of clinical settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, schools, and private practice, primarily with trauma survivors and those with PTSD, including veterans/active service members, sexual assault survivors, natural disaster survivors (Tohoku, Japan), and former child soldiers (Kampala, Uganda).

Olivia is also a community leader and subject matter expert in Fat Liberation and Health-At-Every-Size (HAES) frameworks, providing workshops, seminars, and speaking engagements focused on eliminating discrimination on the basis of body size. In higher education, Olivia has taught graduate-level courses and been a practicum education specialist since 2023, and recently started at UNE in June 2025. 

In their free time, Olivia enjoys reading, beach-clamming, doing puzzles, and spending time with their husband, dog, and two cats.
